About BINA Cyinnovation Hub

BINA Cyinnovation Hub is a Cypriot non-profit institute founded in 2025 with a single purpose: to ensure that the transformation driven by artificial intelligence reaches the people who need it most, not merely those who can already access it.

We serve four populations. Older adults who want to understand and use AI tools with confidence, without jargon and without pressure. Young people in Cypriot schools, where we deliver half-day, hands-on workshops designed around their world, their language, and the risks that matter to them. People with disabilities, for whom access to technology is often mediated by their circumstances — and for whom we make home visits and arrange one-on-one sessions. And underserved communities across Cyprus and the eastern Mediterranean, whom we meet where they are.

Alongside our programs, BINA operates a daily editorial newsroom. Every morning, before 09:00 EEST, we publish a brief on AI and a brief on health — each available in four languages: English, Hebrew, Greek, and Russian. The newsroom is free to read. It carries no tracking, no paywall, and no agenda beyond clarity.

We describe ourselves as a Mediterranean public-good institution. Cyprus sits at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The communities that live here, and the diaspora communities that look to it, are among the most linguistically and culturally diverse in the world. Building something here, in these languages, for these people, is not incidental to our mission — it is the mission.

BINA is based in a private home in Larnaca dedicated to public use. We are funded by donations and editorial sponsorship. We welcome partnerships with schools, municipalities, care homes, libraries, and organisations that share our belief that AI literacy is a public good.
